About this Litter
This breeding is a repeat breeding of a litter we bred just over a year ago. We've heard nothing but outstanding feedback from that litter so decided not to mess with a good thing. The breeding is an outcross of two excellent bird dogs with different styles in the house and in the field. Riley brings an extremely fast ground race, range and a long nose. Lucy brings all day stamina and shares her dad's uncanny instinct for finding birds. Riley is gentle and calm in the house whereas Lucy brings the Brittany enthusiasm we know and love. We expect a hard hitting, high energy breeding.
The litter will be American Kennel Club (AKC) and American Field (AF) registered.
Here's what we expect from these pups:
- High energy bird dogs with a fast, snappy ground race and the stamina to go all day
- Quality conformation with the structure to run fast and far
- Intelligence and instinct to locate birds, get them pinned and hold them
- Desire to learn what is asked of them and do it every time
These two dogs are great dogs in the house and in the field and we expect the pups to be fast, big running, hard hitting gun dogs. That said, both Riley and Lucy live in the house with us and the pups must have the opportunity to bond with a family.

"Riley" DC High Hopes Big Gamble
Riley is a Dual Champion and is nearly finished with his Amateur Field Champion title. In 2011, Riley won the Eastern Futurity Dual Dog award. Allison handled him to a selection as the Third Money Male in the show and Dan handled him to a first place (with Allison scouting) in the All Age field event.

"Lucy" Alder GT Lucifer
Lucy is our first liver Brittany. She is by our Dual Champion, Charlie, and out of Tessie, owned by Jim Hamer. Lucy is a smart little firecracker. She makes us laugh every day but is nothing but work in the field.
Lucy started her field trial career in the spring of 2012 and earned her puppy/derby points in short order. In 2013, she placed third in the Eastern Futurity Gun Dog stake. Lucy will now take a short break from field trialing until she's ready to run as a finished adult dog.
