Annie

NAGDC GAFC FC AFC High Hopes Little Ann

Annie is our biggest winning dog in the field and one of our favorite dogs to have in the house. In the field, Annie has a snappy run, long nose and intense point. At home, she loves attention but is also happy to curl up on the couch and take a nap. After being named the East Central Gun Dog of the Year in 2011, Annie took the spring of 2012 off to whelp her first litter of puppies, including our Luke and Daisy. She returned to the field trial circuit in the Fall of 2012 and quickly qualified for Gun Dog Nationals. Annie qualified for nationals again in and was posted in the 2013 Amateur Gun Dog Championship. We decided to retire her after that run and let her focus on being a hunting dog and mom. Annie let us know pretty quickly, however, that retirement wasn't in her plans. Shortly after raising her second litter of puppies in 2015 (a breeding to DC AFC Grand Junction Jake that produced our Penny) Annie again qualified for Nationals and again took second place in the Amateur Gun Dog Championship. She had her third litter in 2016 (that produced our Molly). Three months after whelping the litter, Annie finally won Amateur Gun Dog Nationals. Annie had her fourth and final litter in 2017. She's now truly retired but is a very happy hunting dog. This amazing little dog just keeps getting it done and never ceases to amaze us with her intelligence and strength. In 2018, one of Annie's puppies, NAFC GAFC FC AFC ANJ's Ohio Hellion "Hank", won the Amateur All Age National Championship.
